May 8th will be the Portland premier of the wonderfully directed documentary, A Wink and A Smile. I delighted to be part of this fabulous night. I will be debuting a brand new routine, ‘Deflowered Queen’.
Seattle producer and emcee extraordinaire, Paula The Swedish Housewife, welcomes the star of our film, Miss Indigo Blue, and some of our starlets The Shanghai Pearl, Ernie von Schmaltz (Rarr!), Honey Moon, Mercury Troy and Gams Galore. And Portland’s own burlesque princess Sahara Dunes and the hottest boylesque troupe — dare we say, in the world — NANDA, are joining our Seattle sweeties to make you gasp with glee at the glory of nekkid rumpshakery!
Now, what blow-out would be complete without a special somepin somepin? Enter Portland’s Integrity Sprits, maker of Trillium Absinthe Superieure (Oprah brought it to President Obama’s own Inauguration Ball). Integrity is supplying our evening’s delicious Absinthe Ferry with a nip for all.
Doors open for cocktails at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 8. Film screens at 8-9:30 p.m. at the historic Hollywood Theatre. Cocktails precede the live show at 10 p.m.
